I am a second-year law student at LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center, pursuing my J.D./D.C.L. through LSU’s accelerated 3+3 program. Through this program, I completed my undergraduate studies in Mass Communication with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Political Science. I currently serve as a student intern in the Civil Division of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Louisiana, where I am strengthening my legal research, writing, and analytical skills while gaining valuable insight into the practice of law and public service.

At LSU Law, I serve as a Junior Associate on the Journal of Social Justice & Policy, contributing to my development as a legal researcher and writer. I am also a member of an external trial advocacy team representing LSU Law in competitions against law schools from across the country. Additionally, I have participated in LSU Law’s internal trial advocacy programs and competitions, including opening statement competitions and the Flory Mock Trial Competition. Through these experiences, I have developed my oral advocacy, critical thinking, and ability to analyze complex legal issues while applying classroom concepts in practical settings.

My interest in connecting with people and understanding their individual experiences began long before law school. Growing up around my mother’s café and catering business in Delray Beach, Florida, I developed an appreciation for the relationships that help businesses and communities thrive. Interacting with people from different backgrounds taught me the importance of listening, building genuine connections, and taking the time to understand each person’s story. These early experiences continue to influence how I approach my work, my relationships, and my developing legal career.

For more than four years, I have worked with businesses to strengthen their digital presence through branding, social media management, and strategic communication. My experience includes helping startup businesses, particularly restaurants in Palm Beach County, Florida, navigate the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic by adapting their branding and marketing strategies to an evolving digital landscape. This work has strengthened my communication, problem-solving, and project management skills while giving me firsthand insight into the challenges and opportunities businesses face.

Beyond my academic and professional commitments, I am proud of my involvement with Delta Gamma’s Gamma Zeta Chapter at LSU, where I held several leadership positions before becoming an alumna. As Director of Intramurals and later Director of Social Events, I coordinated events, collaborated with other campus organizations, and worked with Delta Gamma Headquarters. I also created a campaign website to support fundraising efforts for the construction of the LSU Delta Gamma house, combining strategic messaging and visual communication to encourage engagement and support. These experiences reinforced my appreciation for leadership, collaboration, and service.

I aspire to build a well-rounded legal career grounded in strong research, writing, advocacy, and problem-solving skills. I welcome opportunities to learn from experienced professionals, take on new challenges, and contribute meaningfully to the legal profession. I am particularly interested in continuing to develop the judgment, adaptability, and interpersonal skills necessary to serve clients effectively and navigate complex legal issues.

Outside of law school, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, playing with my puppy, Oakley, and exploring new restaurants around Baton Rouge.
